2025 International Conference on Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Applications (CSAIA 2025) Successfully Concluded in Changsha, China
The 2025 International Conference on Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Applications (CSAIA 2025) was successfully held in Changsha, Hunan, China, from November 7–9, 2025, under the theme “Empowering the Future through Intelligence: Innovative Applications of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence.” Jointly organized by Hunan Normal University and the Asia Computational Intelligence Society (ACIS), and hosted by the College of Information and Engineering and the College of Engineering and Design at Hunan Normal University, the conference received technical sponsorship from the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (IEEE CIS).

Adopting a hybrid format that combined online and on-site participation, CSAIA 2025 attracted over 200 experts, scholars, and industry representatives from leading universities, research institutes, and enterprises worldwide. The conference featured a series of keynote speeches by distinguished scholars, including Prof. Gerhard P. Hancke (Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China; University of Pretoria, South Africa), Prof. Michael Kwok-Po Ng (Hong Kong Baptist University, China), Prof. Zhiyong Peng (Wuhan University, China), Prof. Tao Zhang (Loughborough University, UK), and Prof. Shivakumara Palaiahnakote (University of Salford, UK), covering cutting-edge topics in artificial intelligence, data science, and intelligent systems, sparking lively discussions.

Three parallel co-sessions—“Empowering Design: Human-Centred Methods, Tools, and Artificial Intelligence Applications,” “Data Science and Intelligent Systems,” and “Neural Computing and Big Data Optimization”—focused on emerging research and key technologies. Concurrently, the Editorial Board Meeting of the journal Artificial Intelligence and Applications (AIA) was held, with over 20 board members participating online and offline to discuss the journal’s development, strategies, and academic planning.

To encourage academic excellence, two Best Paper Awards and two Best Student Paper Awards were presented. All accepted papers will be published in the IEEE Xplore Conference Proceedings, ensuring broad international visibility. CSAIA 2025 successfully provided a high-level platform for academic exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and knowledge sharing, advancing AI research and promoting its integration into real-world applications for a smarter, more connected future.
